Today’s tax reform news has been absolutely electric. Private industry’s immediate response was captured with AT&T’s pledge to increase capital investment by $1bb next year (which historically correlates to ~7,000 additional jobs); they also explicitly pledged a $1,000 tax reform bonus for 200,000 employees. Fifth Third Bank and Wells Fargo raised their company minimum wages to $15/hr in response to today’s news. More exciting news from other organizations will likely follow.
This federal tax reform is the only significant action to combat NAZISM in the United States in 2017.
As a refresher, NAZISM stands for Nationalsozialismus. In English, that means National Socialism.
By reducing the federal government’s unjustified tax burden on the American people and their businesses, socialists are forced to take a step back and refocus their never ending push for more federal government control, fueled by American tax dollars.
My personal connection to this topic runs deep. As someone who has crossed the United States from coast to coast by bicycle and south to north by foot, I have met Americans that populate the voiceless expanses of the fly over portions of this country in ways that most of my peers will never experience.
I’ve shaken their hands, received their rides, eaten their meals, slept in their beds, and heard them speak from their heart about topics they love.
Of the people who occupy the majority of landmass in this country, there is no desire for socialism or the corresponding tangential associations that accompany the NAZI political designation. Don’t just take my word for it; go out and ask them the question yourself.
In the densely populated urban areas of this country where NAZISM continues to grow as we speak, today’s news is a significant, measured blow against NAZISM’s inherently flawed ideology and growth in this country.
